Safety on Wheels
This unit of work has been designed to deepen the students’ understanding of safety when riding a bicycle, scooter or skateboard, and when using roller blades. The students will examine their set of wheels and consider ways of maintaining it for safety, and will examine safety equipment that they should wear. They will discuss ways of riding safely and the rules that they should obey.
