Safe Cycling
In this unit the students will investigate safe cycling practices. They will identify the standard parts of a bicycle as well as safety features that have been added. They will understand that it is law to wear a helmet and recognise the benefits of wearing protective clothing. They will identify places that are suitable for riding a bicycle in the community. The students will participate in two sessions in which they demonstrate safe cycling on a bike track.
