In this unit, the students will learn about procedures and will complete a variety of reading, writing and talking and listening tasks using recipes as a theme. The students will develop rules for a classroom kitchen. They will draw and label utensils found in the kitchen. They will reconstruct recipes and draw pictures to match the text. In the writing component of the unit, the students will complete three different recipes. In talking and listening, the students will listen to a guest presenter make their favourite recipe. They will read one of their written recipes and will present a recipe from home.
