Possum Magic
In this unit, the students will respond to the picture book “Possum Magic” by Mem Fox through a series of drama activities. They will participate in activities involving mime, innovation, depictions and hot seats. They will depict scenes from the book, sculpt mirror images, hot seat Hush and Grandma Poss and become expert magicians. The students will also imagine a Magical Place and introduce themselves as an inhabitant of that magic place.
