Position 2.1
In this unit, the students will investigate the concept of position. They will describe their position in the classroom using words, by creating a map and using symbols. The students will also be given a teacher created map of an unknown classroom. They will choose five objects and describe their position in relation to other objects. The students will then place a grid overlay on the map and describe the position of the objects using co-ordinates.
