Multiplication and Division 3.5
In this unit the students will investigate the substrand, multiplication and division. They will roll a hundreds, tens and ones dice and use Base 10 materials to solve 3 digit by 2 digit multiplication problems. They will then investigate the extended form of the multiplication algorithm (or long multiplication) to solve 3 digit by 2 digit multiplication problems. They will create problems of their own using number cards.
