Mr McGee and Other Pamela Allen Stories
In this unit, the students will listen and respond to stories written by Pamela Allen. They will complete a variety of reading tasks based on Pamela Allen stories. This will enhance their understanding and appreciation of the texts as well as develop their comprehension and reading skills. The students will also contribute to the joint construction of narratives. They will retell events from the story and identify the parts of the narratives. The students will also write a simple description and explanation. The students will respond to the Pamela Allen stories in the Talking and Listening component of the unit.
