Mass 3.2
In this unit, the students will investigate the concept of mass. The students will investigate the kilogram and tonne as units of measurement, identifying objects that weigh less than a kilogram, weigh between 1 and 5 kilograms, weigh between 5 kilograms and a tonne, and weigh more than a tonne. The students will then explore the masses of the students within the class and will record the information in different types of graphs, making generalisations based on the data that they collected.
