Look Around You
In this unit, the students will investigate the way in which their homes and school have been built to fulfil certain needs. They will identify the purposes of the spaces within the classroom and the use of different materials used to construct buildings. They will be involved in designing a new classroom and work in-groups to create a plan of their new design. They will also design a new house for the Three Little Pigs and use classroom materials to make it.
