Speak to usIn this unit the students will investigate the differences in daily life in the past and present and will predict what it will be like in the future. They will identify a primary source of information e.g. a student in an older class and their grandparents or an older person, and will formulate questions and interview these people about aspects of life. The students will then compare the interview responses and make generalisations about how life has changed. They will identify an aspect of life and use secondary sources of information to further their research. They will use this research to create a timeline showing how their chosen aspect of life has changed over time. The students will then consider what life will be like for their children and will describe or illustrate it.
