How Do Natural Phenomena Change the Surface of the Earth?
This unit has been designed to help deepen the students’ understanding of how natural phenomena may change the surface of the Earth. The students will be involved in researching natural disasters. They will investigate a specific natural disaster which has occurred identifying how it occurred, the effect that it had on the people, the effect that it had on the environment and organisations which were involved in assisting those who were affected. Finally the students will design and make a model of a particular natural disaster showing the effect that it has on the surface of the Earth.
