Fractions and Decimals 2.4
In this unit, the students will investigate the concept of decimals. They will use Base 10 material and give the short a value if the long has the value of 1. They will then roll a tenths dice and use the Base 10 material to help them add tenths. This process will then be repeated by changing the value of the Base 10 material E.g. giving the flat the value of 1.
