Contributing to the Decision Making Process
This unit has been designed to help develop the students’ understanding of decisions and the decision making process in Australia. The students will discuss decisions and examine how and why people within the community try to influence our decisions. They will be involved in doing research to discover more about how laws are made at the Local, State and Federal levels of Government. The students will listen to a representative from the electoral office talk about the election process, and then they will work together to set up and run a class election.
