Components of the Earth: Earth, Air and Water
This unit has been designed to help deepen the students’ understanding of the components of the physical environment. The students will be involved in doing research to discover more about water, air and earth and how advances in technology have led to different types of environmental problems. They will investigate the effect that water pollution has on the environment, The greenhouse effect, Global warming, and the many ways in which new technology is leading to soil degradation. The students will then design and make a product, which educates others about how we are polluting these aspects of the physical environment.
