Australian Environments
This unit has been designed to deepen the students’ understanding of different types of Australian environments. The unit focuses specifically on Australian rainforests. The students will identify the different levels in a rainforest and research the plants and animals that are specific to each and the features that enable them to live there. The students will show their understanding of life in a rainforest by creating a diorama. The students will then participate in a design and make task where they create an enclosure for a plant or animal that they would find in an Australian environment.
