3D Space 3.4
In this unit, the students will investigate 3 dimensional shapes. The students will visualise and then describe different cross sections for a chosen shape. They will investigate the shape and size of the faces that arise through the cross section and compare them with others. The students will then construct a prism using cubes and will investigate what happens to the area of the faces and the volume of the model as they are increased in size.
