In this unit the students will investigate 3D shapes. They will construct models of 3D shapes using clay, plasticine or interlocking cubes. The students will also find examples of 3D shapes within the environment. They will match 3D shapes with everyday objects around them. The students will describe the shapes using descriptive, informal language.
