3D Space 2.6
In this unit, the students will investigate 3 dimensional shapes. They will find, record, describe and compare as many different pyramids and prisms as possible. They will identify prisms and pyramids in the classroom and in magazines. They will then construct prisms and pyramids to match the ones that they have found. They will also record the dimensions of the shapes that they have made and they will investigate the cross sections. The students will also choose a 3D shape and record it from different perspectives.
