In this unit, the students will investigate 2 dimensional shapes. The students will construct a large shape on the geoboard and will investigate the number of different shapes they can find within this shape. They will then describe the properties of these shapes and measure them in different ways. The students will construct overlapping shapes on the Geoboard and investigate the new shapes that were made.
