In this unit, the students will investigate 2 dimensional shapes. The students will investigate the attributes of a circle, identifying the circumference, radius and diameter. The students will examine other aspects of a circle such as the number of degrees in a circle, its symmetry and area. The students will then construct different 2 dimensional shapes using Mathematical equipment. They will identify and record all the information that they need to know before constructing each shape.
