In this unit the students will investigate 2 dimensional shapes. The students will construct as many different shapes as possible using first two, then three etc pieces of a tangram. They will describe as much about each shape as possible. The students will then construct as many triangles, squares and rectangles as they can using tangram pieces, and describe them.
